In this tutorial, we will discuss how you can leverage our proprietary AI Health service to increase the likelihood of your outbound calls being answered. AI Health will provide you with an emailed report of your phone number health on a scheduled daily basis.
Please note, you can schedule AI Health to run up to two times per day, which will enable you to receive a maximum of two reports on the same day.
Please note, if you wish to activate AI Numbers, we will cover how to activate AI Numbers in another video.
We will now demonstrate how you can quickly and conveniently activate AI Health in real time, by logging in to your Smart Carrier account and selecting the AI Services you wish to use.
Begin by logging in to your Smart Carrier account at app.smartcarrier.io, as shown.

Next, navigate to AI Numbers and AI Health, under the Services menu, as shown.

Here, the AI Numbers and AI Health page will appear, as shown.


When you are ready to activate AI Health, click the toggle bar following the ‘Enable AI Health’ option, as shown.



 Please note, the toggle bar will turn the color blue when enabled. Otherwise, the service is not active. 

After activating the AI Health service, a new menu will appear below, as shown.





Here, in the ‘Schedule’ box, you can set the schedule for when you would like the AI Health reports to run. Please note, there is a cost to run the report on a per-phone number basis. Click the schedule box, and a new menu will appear below, as shown.


Here, you will have the option to select the day of the week, and time of day to send each AI Health report to your email.

Please note, the email will be sent to any email address you have configured in the Notifications page. If you need assistance configuring the notifications page, we will cover that in another video.

We will now provide an example.

In this example, we will schedule the report to run every Monday morning, Tuesday morning and afternoon, and Friday afternoon, as shown. 


Next, you also have the option to only select Smart Carrier DIDs. This means the report will only check phone numbers that you have purchased directly from Smart Carrier. If you would like to see a list of your phone numbers purchased directly from Smart Carrier, navigate to ‘Telephone Numbers,’ and then ‘My Assigned Numbers,’ as shown.


Please note, you also have the option to download all your phone numbers purchased directly from Smart Carrier by clicking the export button from the ‘My Assigned Numbers’ page, as shown. 


If ‘Check only Smart Carrier DIDs’ is selected, Smart Carrier will not check any phone numbers that are not on this list, including uploaded phone numbers.

Please note, if you wish to use AI Health for all phone numbers purchased directly from Smart Carrier as well as phone numbers that you have uploaded to your Smart Carrier account, leave the ‘Check Only Smart Carrier DIDs’ option at ‘No,’ as shown.



If ‘Check only Smart Carrier DIDs’ is selected, Smart Carrier will not check any phone numbers that are not on this list, including uploaded phone numbers.

Please note, if you wish to use AI Health for all phone numbers purchased directly from Smart Carrier as well as phone numbers that you have uploaded to your Smart Carrier account, leave the ‘Check Only Smart Carrier DIDs’ option at ‘No,’ as shown.



Please note, if you are not familiar with uploading phone numbers, we will cover how to upload your phone numbers given to you by another DID provider in another video.

You will now receive the AI Health report in your email at the scheduled times that you have scheduled. Please note, you may need to check your spam folder if you do not receive the email.

Contained in the AI Health report email, will be the Date and Time the report was performed, as well as the Totals for This run, and Month to date totals. 

The Totals for This Run will display the quantity of phone numbers checked, the quantity of Unhealthy numbers, and the cost for the run, as shown.


The Month To Date Totals will display the Totals numbers checked, Unhealthy Numbers, and the Month to date cost since the beginning of the month, as shown.


If any Unhealthy phone numbers are found, you will find a file containing a list of your unhealthy numbers including the US state of the Unhealthy phone number attached to your email, as shown.
